Weddings & Private Events

All receptions start at sunset and our agreements are based on 4 hours (plus 1 hour ceremony). Host your ceremony with your toes in the sand right before the sun goes down. After the ceremony everyone can walk down the beach for your private reception. The Park officially closes to the public at sunset, at that time the venue becomes exclusive to your party. The deck is the perfect spot for cocktail hour and dancing. Your dinner tables will be set up in the sand in the midst of beautiful vegetation. To create the perfect ambiance with tiki torches to lead the way a fire pit is set up on the main beach area beyond your dinner tables. Imagine…. dancing under a canopy of stars on the beach in Key West surrounded by only your friends and family!

The Point

Among locals referred to as “The Point”, this spot is located on the west side of the Park where the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico combine. R2 offers fabulous sunset views year round. Located at the entry of the Key West Shipping channel R2 is always an active site with sunset boats sailing by, fishing boats coming and going and an occasional cruise ship passing, it is a breathtaking experience.

East Beach

Also referred to as “The East Beach,” R4 is nestled on white sand and tropical vegetation on the east side of the Park. The R4 site is in the midst of Jamaican palms and lush sea grapes, which creates a secluded atmosphere for small or large groups.

Beach Reception

No better way to compliment a beach wedding than with a beach reception at Cayo Hueso Cafe. The perfect combination of sand in your toes, lapping waves on the shore, and a light ocean breeze under a canopy of trees.

The Fortress

A Fortress reception offers privacy and all the feels of a unique celebration. The setting will transport you back in time while getting to enjoy the company of your wedding guests under the brick archways, or dancing to the music in the courtyard under a canopy of stars.

Key West's signature public beach. Everybody should visit here at least once in their life. Nominal entrance fee.It's... really a two-fold experience. You have the interesting history and the fort to explore as well as the beach affords a fantastic place to enjoy yourself some fun in the sun. There's even some trails.Goes without saying, about Keys' beaches; narrow, rocky, and rife with seagrass but this IS one of the better ones unless you're at a resort. What's especially nice is the large canopy of shade trees running up to the beach with plenty of neat picnic areas to enjoy. Love, love, love that.Lots of parking. Nice clean bathroom amenities. Looks like there's concessions and beach rentals.Fun, fun.read more

Cool spot! Worth 30-45 min to walk around the fort and then be sure to head to the shore area to catch a sunset. The... ranger guys were super nice and parking was easy. The woods/beach seemed pretty surreal. We had a good time!read more

Always love going to Fort Zach, between walking around the fort and trails then the beach I always have fun. Today we... rented chairs and umbrella from the staff at booth. The two gentleman were super nice and friendly and very accommodating. As locals we love coming here the water is always perfect and crowds are not too crazy. Just get there early as it does start to fill up as the day goes on.read more

Beach is perfect! Ocean colors amazing and very clean. Nice trees around here and also very nice picnic area is in the... same place. When you come here you have to wait sunset and watch that fascinating sunset time. I love that. It’s very beautiful experience!read more

What a fantastic 👏 experience. I haven't got to visit the fort due to a short time being there and had to... catch a flight back home. I'll be coming back for sure! This place is worth your time! A hidden treasure in Key West. Wonderful beach, great snorkeling, good fishing off the bulkhead on the west end.... Bathrooms are fair with outside fresh water showers. Tour at 11am where a Ranger gives you history of the Fort. Concession area with good food and pleasant smiles from the owners and staff. Walking trails, dog friendly but must be on a leash. Beautiful natural landscaping. The staff and administration are more than helpful. Don't miss this wonderful State park. Entry fee is required.read more

Top must do in Key West! My husband and I loved the fort and the beaches here! The fort was beautiful and had stunning... views! It’s doesn’t take long to get through, maybe about 15/20 minutes but is chalked full of great information!The beach was fantastic! Great parking and there is a separate section for fishing and for swimming and snorkeling.We went to primary go for the snorkeling and swimming. The snorkeling here was the best we experienced on the island. The fish were so bright and actively swimming around. You can rent snorkeling here there for around $15 or you can bring your own! Chairs and umbrellas are also available for rent.One thing we wish we knew about was the amount of calcium rocks that were there making walking barefoot until the soft sand a bit of a challenge but there were beautiful to look at!There is bathrooms, fresh water showers, a snack house with great food and a small bar!! If your looking for a great beach with clam waters this is the place to go!read more

This is a beautiful beach. I went in the month of October and the weather was perfect. I got there a little before... sunset and was able to see the sunset at around 7 PM. The beach is located with in a state park. There’s plenty of parking in the park.There is a small fee to enter the park. The water was excellent not too rough and the waves were calm. There was plenty of picnic area for the family and plenty of shade. The beach is completely shaded about 50 feet from the shore.read more
